One Tottenham Hotspur Personnel positive for COVID-19

DBasia.news – Premier League on Wednesday (3/6/2020) PM WIB announced the results of the fifth COVID-19 test they held. The result, one Tottenham Hotspur personnel has been tested positive for COVID-19.

This was revealed based on the latest fifth corona virus test conducted by the Premier League. This test was conducted on 1,197 people from all participating clubs.

Even though the results of the previous or fourth test had raised new hopes. At that time there were no positive cases.

It is not known whether the one infected is a players, coaching staff, or an ordinary employee. Tottenham chose to keep his identity a secret.

“We have been told by the Premier League that there was one positive case in the last corona virus test at our Training Center,” the official Tottenham statement wrote.

“They are currently showing no symptoms and will now undergo independent isolation for seven days, according to the Premier League protocol, before undergoing further testing.”

Tottenham said the case did not interfere with the preparation of the team ahead of the Premier League. The training program keeps going on schedule.

Premier League will continue the 2019-2020 season on June 17. The highest caste competition in Britain has been suspended since mid-March due to the corona virus pandemic.
