Paco Alcacer Reminiscing the Past in Barcelona
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Paco Alcacer is in the spotlight ahead of the first Champions League group match between Borussia Dortmund against Barcelona on Wednesday (18/9) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Alcacer reminisced about his past in Barcelona.
Paco Alcacer has bad memories with Barcelona. He headed for Barcelona from Valencia for a fee of 30 million euros in the summer of 2016. It was then that the dark journey began.
Paco Alcacer only became a coating on the Barcelona front line. He appeared 50 times in two seasons. The minimal amount made the player decide to go to Borussia Dortmund last season.
“I will decide that later (celebrate when scoring a goal against Barcelona). I have respect for many people there,” explained Alcacer as reported by Catalunya.
“Many people are being nice to me, but there are also many people who are behaving very badly. My teammates and supporters treat me well,” continued the player.
Paco Alcecer did not deny that his failure at Barcelona was due to not getting enough chance to show off. The Spanish striker felt he did not get the trust of Barcelona.
“In any job, when someone gives confidence, you will give the best. However, if they do not believe, you will not give it,” explained Alcacer.
“It’s very important for me to see those trust signals. In the end, many people don’t show.”
Paco Alcacer got the second chance in his career at Borussia Dortmund. Last season, he packed 19 goals in 32 matches. Not surprisingly, Dortmund decided to permanent the bomber.
