Patrice Evra Frustrated Against James Milner

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Instead of Lionel Messi, Patrice Evra, a former Manchester United left-back, has more difficulty against James Milner, a Liverpool player and former Manchester City.

Patrice Evra spent eight careers at Manchester United. He won the Premier League, the Champions League, the Club World Cup, the English League Cup, and the English League Super Cup.

Aside from Man United, Evra has also defended AS Monaco, Juventus and West Ham United. Evra also has a record of 81 appearances for the French national team.

With so much experience dealing with opposing players, Evra would appoint James Milner as the greatest enemy. Evra feels Milner can frustrate him.

“James Milner. I fought Messi many times in a wide position. I would not say he was easily stopped, but I can handle it,” Evra said as Sky Sports reported.

“When Messi is in the middle, that is the most dangerous. Because, he can play left and right,” he continued.

“Meanwhile, James Milner only frustrates me because as an attacking defender, I always follow him everywhere. He challenges me in air duels and I sometimes feel frustrated.”

The intensity of Evra against Milner is indeed quite high. Evra often met in Manchester derby matches or matches against Liverpool. “So yes, the player who frustrated me the most was James Milner,” Milner said.

James Milner has made 188 appearances for Liverpool since joining in 2015. Last season, Milner was instrumental in the success of the Reds won the Champions League title.
