Paul Ince Asks United to Learn from City

By news-admin

DBasia.news –  Manchester United has spent 159 million euros on three players. However, it was considered bad by Paul Ince. He considered Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should learn from Manchester City.

Paul Ince thinks United’s steps will not bring positive change. According to him, it is a big mistake if the Red Devils only rely on young players.

Supposedly, he said, there was still the right mix between young players and the stars that had become.

“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he wanted to go the way by bringing in young players, fresh talents, to build teams, for me, that was not the right way,” Paul Ince said.

“Young players now are not like David Beckham, Paul Scholes, and Ryan Giggs. Not many come from the academy at this time. It is not wrong to recruit two or three young players, but then it is integrated with high-quality senior players. Don’t just depend on them.”

Paul Ince then pointed to Manchester City as an example that should be emulated. According to him, the steps taken by Pep Guardiola are very interesting. A lot of money is spent to buy quality players and the results look real.

“You see how many young players are in the Manchester City squad besides Phil Foden? None and they were able to win the league. “Liverpool have a few, but the majority of players on the team are experienced senior players and young players are added,” he said again.
