DBasia.news – Paul Pogba is an extraordinary player. Not too long after his failure in executing the penalty of Manchester United’s 2-0 victory against Burnley in the Premier League, he executed the penalty kick in the match against Young Boys in Champions League.
Now, the France national team player won’t repeat the same mistake. He has successfully done his job by teasing the opponent’s goalkeeper, David von Ballmoos.
Pogba told that before the match against Young Boys, he promised to The Red Devils coach, Jose Mourinho, to not repeat the same failure if he got the chance for 12 o’clock kick. The statistic of the World Cup winner in executing penalty is actually pretty good. He just failed one time from four chances.
“I had no doubt about taking the penalty. I know I missed that one [against Burnley], but I told [Mourinho] I won’t do the same mistake this time. I had the confidence of the players as well, they let me take it,” Pogba revealed.
“so I thank them for this and I thank the manager. The most important thing was to put the ball in and that’s what happened, so I’m happy,” Pogba revealed.

Furthermore, Pogba was glad the team start the Champions League with a positive result. But he realized the real test will be in the two upcoming matches, against Valencia and Juventus.
“We know that we have the bigger teams coming up and we’re going to have to get the result we want because we are playing in the Champions League and it’s for top teams only. Obviously, it’s not going to be easy, but we’ve got to get through this group,” Pogba explained.
Pogba played well in the match between Manchester United against Young Boys. Not only scoring two goals, but he also initiated the third goal scored by Anthony Martial.
