DBasia.news – Manchester United must travel to Paris Saint-Germain headquarters without Paul Pogba who had gotten a red card while playing in the first leg. For PSG player Julian Draxler, Pogba’s absence benefited his team.
Manchester United needs to fight harder to turn things around in Paris. Because in the first meeting, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s foster children must be defeated with a score of 2-0.
“Yes, I think so because for me Paul is the best Manchester United player. (Pogba is) a very important player for the team. That is why we are very happy that he will not be playing in the second meeting, “said Draxler.
PSG’s victory in the first meeting made their chances of qualifying for the to 8 to be very wide. Not only winning, they also excelled in away goals and made Manchester United’s chances even smaller.
“We are not only happy with the results but also on the way we play. We are very confident, especially in the second half and we deserve to win, “Draxler said.
When competing in the second leg, PSG won’t be strengthened by their important player, Neymar Jr. Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier were also doubtful because they were still injured.
“If two players like Cavani and Neymar are absent, everyone talks about it, that’s normal. To be sure, we are better if Cavani and Neymar played. But we have an amazing team even without them, “he said.
