Pep Guardiola, a Teacher in Vincent Kompany’s Eyes

DBasia.news –  Vincent Kompany, the Belgian defender, claimed to have learned a lot from his former manager at Manchester City, Pep Guardiola.

“I feel like I am at university every day, Guardiola explains everything in detail and I learn a lot from him. I feel like a good student under his care,” Kompany said as quoted by Sky Sports.

Kompany has not thought about training Manchester City in the future and believes Mikel Arteta will be the right person to replace Guadiola later.

“I am not surprised by this question, but let City take care of Guardiola at this time because I am sure they will win the Champions League. I am sure Mikel Arteta will be the right person to replace him because he has a lot of knowledge.”

Kompany won four Premier League titles, two FA Cup trophies and four League Cup Cups while still defending Manchester City.
