Pep Guardiola Responds to the Issue of Raheem Sterling leaving for Real Madrid

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  There is potential for the Manchester City squad to be crushed by other European clubs because of penalties from UEFA. Pep Guardiola is worried about him.

Unmitigated, Guardiola said if the players have entered the transfer radar of Barcelona and Real Madrid. One of the most heavily reported will move is Raheem Sterling.

“Barcelona and Real Madrid are the strongest teams, both financially and in terms of its history. That’s normal and I understand the situation. But at the same point, you see the commitment of Raheem. He is one of the best players in the world, so naturally, they want him,” Guardiola said as reported by the Daily Mail, Saturday (02/22/2020).

“I don’t know whether Madrid or Barcelona contacted his agent or the agent of our other players. But I believe in his commitment and other players at this club,” he added.

Not only about the future of the players, the future of the Spanish coach is also questionable. European media have even predicted that he will move to Juventus or Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the former Barcelona coach reiterated his commitment at the Etihad Stadium. “I have a good relationship with management, so I don’t think it will be a problem if we decide to stay three seasons ago or spend the current contract,” Guardiola added.

As is known, Manchester City was sentenced by UEFA not to enter European competition for two seasons. This sentence was handed down after they were found guilty of falsifying income from sponsors.
