DBasia.news – There’s nothing wrong about espionage by Leeds United. At least, that’s what Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola thinks. He believes it’s a normal thing in a modern football.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is under FA investigation after admitting that he is responsible by sending the spy to Derby County training center. Moreover, Bielsa said that he did the same thing to all the contenders.

Bielsa thinks what he did is a common thing. Pep Guardiola backed the Argentinian manager.

“In other countries, everybody does that. It is the culture of the clubs. It was part of the club. Not because you said, ‘You have to do it’. It is the leagues,” Guardiola told Sky Sports.

“When we were training at Bayern Munich, there were people in the little mountains with cameras and the opponent was watching what we did. Everybody did it. (But) I am not going to send anyone to spy on Huddersfield,” the manager continued.

Guardiola admits that he has no idea whether what Bielsa did was wrong due to a different culture in every country. “I don’t know,” Guardiola said.

“It is more difficult (to do here). It (training) is private. It is closed. But in all the countries I have been before, everybody does it,” he said.

Manchester City would visit Huddersfield home on the 23rd-week of Premier League on Sunday, (20/1). Currently, The Citizens are in the second position with 53 points.
