DBasia.news –  Goals from Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool a 2-0 lead in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against FC Porto at Anfield, Wednesday (10/4) WIB.

Despite winning an important victory and mastering the course of the match, the Reds remained in the negative spotlight after their key player, Mohamed Salah, made a hard tackle on his opponent, Danilo, ten minutes before the end of the match.

The action did not get reviews from VAR and made the player with number the 11 unable to get retroactive sanctions from the UEFA disciplinary committee. This made Porto president, Pinto da Costa, feel furious and said that the tackle could break the bones on Danilo’s feet.

“Danilo deserves to be grateful because the tackle from Mohamed Salah can make him experience a broken bone in his leg, it is not something that is done to grab the ball from the opponent he is facing. I am very grateful that he did not have a broken bone, “Pinto da Costa said in a statement quoted from Sky Sports.

Da Costa highlighted Felipe’s tackle to Salah that made the center-back get a yellow card, and believes that every player who appeares should get the same treatment in the field.
