DBasia.news –  David Neres, Ajax Amsterdam wing striker, still doesn’t think (believe) his team played in the 2018-19 Champions League semifinals. Playing in the big four is like a dream come true.

Even so, Neres himself feels Ajax is worthy to be in the Champions League semifinal position. When looking at their struggles since the Champions League qualifying round until they beat Juventus in the quarterfinals yesterday.

Of all the matches, Neres sees all Ajax players trying hard to give the best in the Champions League. Therefore he did not want to waste all the efforts of his team-mates by helping Ajax to appear in the final of the competition.

Now Ajax’s journey is just one step away from being able to play in the final. In the semi-finals of the first leg against Tottenham Hotspur, Erik ten Hag’s team managed to lock the victory with a score of 1-0. So Ajax only needs a draw or a win to ensure a place in the final match of the 2018-2019 Champions League. Neres hopes that this will happen.

“We have come here thanks to the efforts and all the services of our team, we will make sure that everything becomes valuable. As everyone has seen today (at Tottenham vs. Ajax), we fought a lot and struggled very hard to the end to maintain the result (victory),” explained Neres, as Sportskeeda proclaimed.

“Now we still have 90 minutes to get us to the final. Let’s fight and fight again to make our dreams come true,” he concluded.
