DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admits that he has no problem at all with Premier League tight schedule on December.
In the latest three Premier League matches, Spurs played amazingly by scoring 12 goals and just got conceded 2 goals.
“Yes, very happy. If we are capable to keep the momentum it is good to have a lot of games to play every two or three days. When you build that confidence and trust, it is important to show it in the competition,” Pochettino said.
“We need to do to help the player to recover the energy to be ready to compete for every single game and be right in our decision how we help the team, adding fresh legs in the right moment,” Pochettino added.
In the next Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend, Tottenham won’t be supported by Dele Alli who has a hamstring injury. Also, Erik Lamela won’t play due to the recovery period.
“We are monitoring Dele’s condition. We also observe Erik Lamela who just recovered. Maybe he would play in the last 10 or 20 minutes. I won’t place him as the starter to minize the risk.”
