Pogba Believes Man United is Exhausted After Conquering West Ham

DBasia.news –  Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has a unique theory when his team struggled to beat West Ham United in Week 34 of the Premier League, Saturday (4/13) evening. Pogba believes that United’s players were exhausted.

As is known, Man United had just undergone a heavy fight in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg at home to Barcelona. Only two days later, Man United returned to play the match against West Ham United which was equally important.

Victory will be very important for Man United to push them to the top four. Of course the fight cannot be missed. Therefore some of the main players of Man United still appeared in the match against West Ham after the match against Barcelona.

Even so, in the match against West Ham, Man United won a narrow victory with a score of 2-1. Man United got the advantage as both goals were born from a penalty kick scored by Pogba.

“I can’t explain whether we are exhausted from the Champions League matches, but we now have to rest for the match on Tuesday or Wednesday morning (against Barcelona),” Pogba said, quoting from the BBC.

After this match, Man United have four days to prepare to appear in the second leg of the Champions League 201-2019. They will fly to Barcelona to face an important match and try to secure a semi-final ticket.
