Pogba Considers Himself As the Best

DBasia.news – Paul Pogba’s status with Manchester United this season attracts the attention of Liverpool legend, Graeme Souness. He thinks Pogba’s mistake is considering himself as the best within the squad.

Jose Mourinho didn’t send the French midfielder in the match against Liverpool. Moreover, when the team played 2-1, the manager didn’t glance at Pogba to enter the pitch.

Souness considered what Mourinho did is related to Pogba’s superior feeling among other midfielders like Marouane Fellaini and Nemanja Matic. This what makes the Liverpool legend believes it as the trigger of his declining performance.

“Pogba must be thinking surely I’m better than Marouane Fellaini, surely better than Nemanja Matic?” Souness said.

“But if he had a better attitude he’d be better than any midfielder in the Premier League,” he added.

The match at Anfield was the second time Mourinho didn’t send Pogba. Previously, he was also benched when The Red Devils won 4-1 against Fulham at Old Trafford last weekend.
