DBasia.news –  Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists his star midfielder Paul Pogba was not sold in the transfer window this winter.

Solskjaer’s comments were made amidst speculation that Pogba would leave after only appearing six times for Manchester United this season and since September 30, pulled over with an ankle injury.

“No. Pogba will not be sold in January,” Solskjaer said.

“I hope he can play again this year. We will see how he is doing, but I will not suppress him … we need him in 100 percent. We will not take excessive risks,” he added.

Solskjaer also praised Pogba as one of the players who could be a differentiator for MU, if, in the end, the French legion could graze again.

“Paul has been fantastic for us so far. We know that in him there is the quality of one of the best players in the world,” he said.

“He needs time to be fit again, but when he recovers it will be a differentiator for us,” said Solskjaer completing.

Pogba is still linked with the interest of several European giants such as Juventus and Real Madrid, more recently it was rumored he refused a contract extension at Old Trafford.
