DBasia.news – The football in Europe and the world is evolving day by day. The #10YearsChallenge is trending in the social media.

The strength of football has changed within the past decade due to the coach shifting and financial management.

Besides that, also mention the change of regulation within the past decade. Let’s say the Financial Fair Play (FFP), Video Assistant Referee (VAR), and homegrown players.

Currently, Juventus, Manchester City, and PSG are the biggest candidate in Europe football. These three clubs are always the candidate of Champions League winner.

Looking back to the past decade, apparently, both Juventus, Manchester City, and PSG aren’t the strength in Europe, even in their own country.

In Italy, Inter Milan were the strength under Jose Mourinho. Juventus were still under the shadow of the Calciopoli case.

Juventus ended the 2008-2009 season as the runner-up, but 10 points behind Inter Milan. Besides that, I Bianconeri intention to do the revolution in the 2009 summer transfer market failed.

At that time, Juventus weren’t dangerous in Italy. La Vecchia Signora often declined due to the Calciopoli case and ended in the seventh position twice.

In England with Big Four, there were Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Manchester City weren’t really popular at that time.

In the first half of 2009, Manchester City didn’t have a good season even though Robinho supported them. They finished in the 10th position.

Manchester City’s fortune wasn’t really good even though they signed the players like Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor. The Citizens were getting better when Roberto Mancini came in 2009 replacing Mark Hughes.

The same thing happened in French when PSG could do nothing about Ligue 1 rivalry. The traditional clubs like Lyon and Marseille dominated the table.

PSG’s position in the 2008-2009 season wasn’t really bad, in the sixth place. But, just like Juventus, the 2009 summer transfer market was a bad memory for Les Parisiens.

Some of their players left. Moreover, coach Paul Le Guen got hijacked by the Cameroon national team. They fell to the 13th position.
