DBasia.news –  Liverpool immediately sold their players after recruiting Sepp van den Berg from PEC Zwolle. The Reds sold the 19-year-old player, Rafael Camacho, to Sporting Lisbon.

As reported by Goal, Liverpool sold Camacho to Sporting for five million pounds. Liverpool will also receive funding of two million pounds if Camacho meets the variable prerequisites in the agreement of the two teams: number of appearances and more.

In addition, Liverpool also includes a 20 percent sales clause in the Camacho deal: Liverpool will earn money if Sporting sells him to another club. And the repurchase option if Camacho grows rapidly and becomes a great player in Europe.

Camacho, had tasted his debut in Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool first team against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup last January. He did not want to extend his contract which expires next year and chose to leave as he rarely played.

“Rafa Camacho will join Sporting Lisbon in a five million pound deal – it can be increased to seven million with a variable, after Liverpool insisted on selling the 19-year-old player,” said David Maddock, Mirror correspondent.

Sporting Lisbon is not a foreign place for the Portuguese player. Camacho has been at Sporting in the 2008-2013 period before going to Manchester City academies (2013-2016) and Liverpool (2016-2019).
