DBasia.news –  The transfer speculation of Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, to Real Madrid is still being discussed this summer. Real Madrid defender, Raphael Varane, also commented on the matter.

Paul Pogba is reportedly looking for a way out of Manchester United. One of the players’ goals is Real Madrid. Reportedly, Madrid is willing to meet the Red Devils 150 million pounds request.

However, Varane believes that Real Madrid’s current strength is enough. The French player believes, Madrid will return victorious in the 2019-2020 season.

“I think we have a good team. Pogba is a great player. I know him very well. He will be fantastic for any team,” Varane said as Goal reported.

“However, I believe in my team mates. If new players come, we will see. However, I believe in my team mates,” he added.

Raphael Varane considered, minor results in the preseason matches were not worthy of being a benchmark for Madrid’s ability. Varane believes, El Real will soon be ahead when the season starts.

“I understand that you always want us to develop. We are working on that and I believe in our work,” Varane stressed.

“It’s true, at the individual level there are a lot of mistakes. It’s not a tactical problem, it’s a technical one. It needs to be fixed. I think we will increase little by little. We focus on the work.”

“I understand there is a lot of hope. I also want to see Real Madrid win. You have to be calm. This season hasn’t started yet. When the season starts, we will be ready,” he added.

Real Madrid lost 1-0 when they met Tottenham Hotspur in the Audi Cup match, at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday (30/7). Lilywhites’s only goal was created by Harry Kane.
