DBasia.news – Zinedine Zidane’s comeback to Real Madrid is rumored to be changing the club’s transfer policy next summer. The rumor, they will try to buy back Cristiano Ronaldo. But according to ESPN, not Ronaldo who was targeted by Zidane.
Real Madrid appointed Zinedine Zidane as the new manager to overtake Santiago Solari. El Real hopes the French coach can save Madrid’s position this season and restore glory to the following seasons.
The heavy duty made Zinedine Zidane want to overhaul the Real Madrid squad. The coach has taken the first step by bringing Eder Militao from FC Porto.
At present, Eder Militao is still 21 years old. The player who reportedly arrived with a dowry of 50 million euros is proof that the Los Blancos are still concentrating on young players in the transfer market.
Even so, Zinedine Zidane also wants to get a mature player. Some media reports, Zidane wants to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo who is currently playing for Juventus.
However, according to ESPN, Ronaldo is not the player Zidane wants to join Real Madrid. The bald haired coach is monitoring Manchester City striker Raheem Sterling.
Raheem Sterling is not a new name for Zinedine Zidane. The coach has been monitoring Sterling since 2014 but never had the opportunity to recruit him.
Manchester City are reportedly not going to easily give the green light. In fact, The Citizens want to set a price of 300 million pounds for the British player.
The high price was inseparable from the duration of Sterling’s contract at Manchester City. Currently, Sterling is still bound by a contract with The Citizens until June 2023 with a salary of 300 thousand pounds per week.
