Real Madrid bend Atletico because of Los Blancos players’ great commitment

DBasia.news – The commitment and determination of Real Madrid gave a 1-0 victory over city rivals, Atletico Madrid, in the continued match of LaLiga. Zinedine Zidane assessed that the victory could not be separated from the hard work of the Madrid players.
Los Blancos won 1-0 against Atletico Madrid via a single goal Karim Benzema in minute 56, Saturday (01/02) night Western Indonesian Time. The victory temporarily took Madrid away from Barcelona, who have only played 21 times, with a distance of six points.
Real Madrid clogged in the first round. However, since Zidane played Vinicius Junior and Lucas Vazquez early in the second half, replacing Toni Kroos and Isco, Madrid’s game improved until Benzema finally scored.
“In the second half, with Lucas and I playing, we started well and changed the rhythm of the match,” Vinicius Junior was quoted as saying by the United States.
Zidane also admitted that the game in the second half was the key that changed the match. Live legend Santiago Bernabeu admitted his team did not play well in the first round.
“Everyone is very happy. We look forward to this result. We experienced a difficult first round against an opponent who played a good game. We played better in the second round, with different attitudes and intensities,” said Zidane.
“Responsibility is also my responsibility for the first half. I don’t like making changes at intervals but something must be done.”
“I could have replaced the other two players because I don’t like anything. But it was not (wrong) the players, it was my fault. We had to change a bit and we did it. Everything was better in the second half,” he explained.
One other thing that Zidane likes is the commitment of the players. With or without the ball Sergio Ramos et al worked hard to ward off the Atletico Madrid game made by Diego Simeone.
“With and without the ball we are very focused. We have opened (the space) the field well, playing fast from side to side, with two touches. The goals we printed, for example, with Vinicius shots, (Ferland) Mendy and Karim, we did it quickly,” added Zidane.
“It’s not easy what these players do. I’m happy for them because they fight on the pitch. When we have difficulty we don’t lower our arms, we continue. This is the team that we have and the crowd that applauds, in the end, is proof for this.” he explained.
