Real Madrid Captain’s Defense for Gareth Bale

DBasia.news –  Sergio Ramos, captain of Real Madrid, defended Gareth Bale from the criticism he received. Ramos thinks Bale is free to do anything in his spare time.

Gareth Bale has been in the spotlight for Real Madrid lovers in recent years. That was after Bale who did not show seriousness in playing for Los Blancos.

Gareth Bale has several times not show up during training for with injury reason but was present at another event. Most often, Bale is actually seen playing golf.

Many consider this to be hurting Gareth Bale’s commitment to Real Madrid. Some Los Merengues supporters feels Bale to be unprofessional.

However, Sergio Ramos is unwilling to discuss the life of Gareth Bale outside the field. The captain emphasized how important Bale was for Real Madrid.

“That is Gareth Bale’s personal life, let’s respect and not discuss it. We are all free to do anything in our spare time,” said Sergio Ramos.

“Of course you owe it to your teammates, the club and yourself. You have to be as honest as possible and everyone will go home without prejudice.”

“In my opinion, Gareth Bale is a great player. During the defense of Real Madrid, Bale became an important player for us,” added Sergio Ramos.

Throughout the 2019-2020 season, Gareth Bale appeared in five matches with Real Madrid. Of these, the Welsh player has collected two goals and one assist.
