DBasia.news – Real Madrid have not given up trying to recruit Manchester United star, Paul Pogba. Florentino Perez, President of Madrid, has indicated that he will try to recruit Pogba.
Real Madrid is one of the most extravagant clubs in the 2019 summer transfer window. El Real spent more than 300 million euros to strengthen the team.
One of the most attractive players is Eden Hazard. The Belgian national team attacking midfielder has made Madrid willing to spend 100 million euros.
However, Real Madrid are also wary in the transfer market yesterday. One of the players who failed to land at Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu was Paul Pogba.
The negotiations with Manchester United were tough. As the Red Devils has set a price of 150 million euros for the French player. In addition, Madrid also received interference from Juventus who are also attracted to Pogba.
Florentino Perez insists, Real Madrid will still hook players with star status. He hopes Madrid will soon rise and win the title.
“Success makes us lose intensity. We have to restore it. Players and coaches have now made Real Madrid win. They have to do it again,” Perez said as reported by Marca
Perez did not dismiss that Real Madrid was not on the right track last season. “Last season we did not look good. We have to reflect and criticize ourselves,” explained the president.
“We have never invested so much for a player even though we already have a great squad. We are still trying to bring in great players in the future,” Perez added.
After the international break, Real Madrid will face Levante in the 2019-2020 LaLiga match at the Santiago Bernabeu, Saturday (9/14). Sergio Ramos and mates needs three points to move from fifth position of the standings.
