Real Madrid violates club rules by giving Sergio Ramos special treatment

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Real Madrid is rumored to be giving special treatment to the captain, Sergio Ramos. In fact, Los Blancos will break club rules.

Real Madrid is under strict control over financial matters. Los Blancos does not want to continue to lose money after being the corona virus pandemic.

One of the paths taken is to postpone new contract discussion for all players. In addition, Madrid also applied a maximum one-year contract policy for players over 30 years of age.

However, this does not apply to Sergio Ramos. ESPN reports that Real Madrid will comply with Ramos’ request, who wants a contract for two more seasons. Madrid is aware that the captain’s role is still very large. That means Ramos will be at the Santiago Bernabeu until he turns 38.

Most recently, Sergio Ramos scored his 100th goal in the match against Inter Milan. Besides being strong at the back, Ramos is also Madrid’s main weapon to gain goals.

Real Madrid’s attitude is in line with Florentino Perez’s statement some time ago. The president guaranteed that Ramos would get the new contract he wanted.

“Ramos will finish his career at Real Madrid. He is more than a captain,” explained Florentino Perez at the end of last season.

“He will continue as long as he wants. As long as he wants and has the strength, I think he will be with us for many years,” the president said.

The former Sevilla defender has made more than 650 appearances for Real Madrid since joining in 2005. Ramos has won the LaLiga title five times and the Champions League four times.
