Rebic Respond About Manchester United Transfer Issue
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Ante Rebic’s impressive performance in Croatia national team during the 2018 World Cup made some Europe clubs interested to recruit him in the summer transfer market. Sevilla, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United were interested in the 24-year-old player.
Rebic could be placed at the wing striker or the second striker behind the main striker. His determination, power, hard work, and speed are great assets of Rebic’s performance. The 2017/2018 season also became the special season for him with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored the goals and presented the victory against Bayern Munchen in the final round of DFB-Pokal.
Rebic didn’t deny that his agent got many offers from Europe clubs. He felt blessed but remained calm responding to the offers during the transfer market.
“I am obviously glad to hear and read about how many big coaches and clubs are asking about me. Honestly, I think I deserved it! I had a great World Cup and an even better club season with Eintracht. Yes, I know there are concrete offers, I keep in regular contact with my agent,” Rebic told Goal.
“I’m glad I proved that everyone can count on me, but as I said there is enough time left until the transfer window closes,” he continued.
Rebic might move to the other club or stay with Eintracht that he joined since 2016. He remained calm with the situation and let the club and agent discuss his future.
“Transfer offers? It’s still early for those stories, the transfer window is open for almost another month. When I moved to Fiorentina the transfer was completed on August 29, and my transfer to Eintracht was done on August 31,” Rebic added.
“Most transfers are done during the last days [of the window] so that is when my situation will be more clear. Now I am an Eintracht player and I have returned to training with my team,” he explained.
