Returning from Injury, Chiriches Is Happy to Be Grazing Again

DBasia.news –  Vlad Chiriches expressed his excitement when he made his debut appearance with Napoli this season and worked under coach Carlo Ancelotti. “He gives us more freedom,” Chiriches said.

Chiriches marked his recovery from the ACL injury on Thursday, playing 56 minutes from Napoli’s 2-0 win against FC Zurich in the Europa League last 32.

“It feels amazing to be back on the pitch after a very difficult five and a half months,” former Tottenham Hotspur defender told Sky Sport Italia.

“When this kind of injury comes, it’s difficult and you definitely want to play. You watch the team struggle and it hurts.

“Still, you must stay focused, do your work and come back in the best way. Europa League? We hope to continue to go through.”

“We want to win something this year and the Europa League is a clear goal for us. We are so focused on the back line with Sarri.

“Ancelotti gave us a little more freedom. Maybe you need it too when playing football.

“I enjoy working like this because it helps me do more physically and technically,” Chiriches said.
