Robert Pires Discusses Aaron Ramsey’s Decision to Join Juventus

DBasia.news –  Aaron Ramsey has left the club which he has strengthened from 2008, Arsenal. Ramsey joined Juventus and his decision was supported by Arsenal legend, Robert Pires.

Departing from the Gunners and then joining eight consecutive Scudetto winners, according to Pires, is very appropriate as Ramsey’s ability will continue to grow there.

“I think this (Ramsey joining Juventus) is not an ordinary opportunity but a great opportunity for him to play in a club as big as the Bianconeri. In terms of tactics, Aaron will still have to learn a lot, but in terms of technique he will continue to develop with great players,” Pires said from Football-Italy.

Pires, former Arsenal player in the mid 2000-2006, even considered that Arsenal had regretted his decision to release Ramsey for free to Juventus. Arsenal failed to extend Ramsey’s contract until he left with a free agent status.

“He made a very good decision to move there. Aaron is very smart and he will adapt quickly. Arsenal have regretted his transfer as he is a player who has been a very important part of the team,” added Pires.
