DBasia.newsDuring 1996, 22 years ago, was the last time Juventus won the Champions League. After that, Bianconeri just came as the runner-up, including when they reached the final round twice within the past three years.

In recent years, Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid were haunting Juventus. Last season, Ronaldo scored the goals third times to Gianluigi Buffon’s net during the Champions League. Juventus are becoming more curious to achieve The Big Ears.

And now, looking forward to 2018/19 season, Juventus optimists to be the victory, as Ronaldo joined them. The 33 years old player came with ‎£100M and an additional ‎£12M price tag for a four-year contract.

Ronaldo’s presence boosts the chance for Juventus in winning the Champions League. They are aiming for quadruple or four trophies during next season: Italy Super Cup, Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Champion League.

“We’ve always had the aim of winning the Champions League and certainly the signing of Ronaldo will give us more awareness of how to achieve it. But that, together with the league, the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup are the four aims for which Juventus has always played for,” Allegri said as reported by Goal.

Allegri also thanked Juventus’ high officials for the recruitment of Ronaldo. The presence of former Manchester United star is an important part for Juventus squad.

“I know he is very happy. He is a great professional and an important addition for a team that has already done big things, Allegri added.

“I believe the club and the president have not only done an extraordinary thing for Juve, but especially for Italian football,” the 50 years old coach concluded.
