Ronaldo to Juventus, Ancelotti’s Challenge

By db-admin

DBasia.newsJuventus’ successful step to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo brought huge euphoria for Bianconeri’s fans. Their happiness is a bad dream for Juventus’ rivals in Serie A.

No wonder, La Vecchia Signora is strong enough without Ronaldo in Serie A, by winning the Scudetto for seven times respectively, and also four Coppa Italia titles. Ronaldo’s presence will make Juventus go further than the other teams.

It’s not a problem for Juventus, who aims for quadruple titles in Serie A, Coppa Italia, Italian Super Cup, and Champions League for this season. But for Italian football fans, Juventus is already the champion, long before the competition has started.

But not everyone is having eerie with Juventus’ powerful squad supported by Ronaldo. Carlo Ancelotti, Napoli’s new coach who was Ronaldo’s boss in Real Madrid, feel challenged to gain success with Partenopei.

“He’s the best in the world, and I know his professionalism and his strength — Italian football is going to reap great rewards from his arrival, although principally it is an advantage to Juve,” Ancelotti told ESPN.

“For us, it’s an even greater motivation to finish ahead of the Bianconeri (in Serie A). We’re here to win. I’ve been really convinced by the spirit of this squad. There were many reasons why I accepted the offer to come here. The club believed in my ability and I had a great desire to return to Italy.”

Other Juventus’ rival should follow Ancelotti’s attitude and character. Ronaldo’s presence should be the motivation for success, to build a competitive Serie A.
