Rooney Asks MU to Not Sell Martial
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Former Manchester United player, Wayne Rooney, speaks up about Anthony Martial’s next step, who believed will move to another club. Rooney thinks until now The Red Devils haven’t found the way to get the best of Martial.
Anthony Martial future in Manchester United remains a big question. Not included in the starting lineup, the France player decides to leave.
Through his agent, Martial can’t stand sitting on the substitute bench of Manchester United. Moreover, the situation also affects his role in the France national team.
Seeing this, Rooney asks Manchester United to think twice before selling Martial. The former Everton striker sees a big potency on him.
“I think Martial, ability-wise, is incredible. But I think it’s how do you get the best out of him?” Rooney told talkSPORT.
“I think if you can get the best out of him, he’s up there ability-wise with the best in the league,” Rooney continued.
Regarding this problem, Martial’s relationship with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a bit troubled. The Special One asks Martial to understand that not everything will happen as expected.
“I think sometimes it is difficult to get to know him as a person, as a character because of the way he is. But I think once you do get to know him, you just keep him happy,” Rooney explained.
Manchester United got Anthony Martial from AS Monaco worth £54M, 3 years ago. Until now, the 22-year-old player scored 24 goals in Premier League.
