Saved from RFEF Sanction, Barcelona Go to Copa del Rey Quarter-Final

Barcelona
DBasia.news – FC Barcelona went to the quarter-final after defeating Levante with a 4-2 goal aggregate in the knockout stage. But, there’s an interesting story after Barcelona won 3-0 against Levante at Camp Nou, the second leg of Copa del Rey.
The match stole the attention after the report that one of the players, Juan “Chumi” Brandariz, shouldn’t play due to the ban of playing in Barca B.
Considering this situation, Levante brought up this situation to Committee for Sport Discipline under RFEF.
But, as reported by AS, RFEF rejected the appeal by Granotas by saying that it exceeds the limit.
The rejection ensures Lionel Messi and friends would still go to the quarter-final of Copa del Rey and would play against Sevilla to secure one ticket in the semifinal round.
