Schmeichel: Poor Solskjaer, Manchester United’s squad is too mediocre
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel admitted he was sorry to see Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has a mediocre player at Old Trafford.
Red Devils when they lost 0-1 to Bournemouth on Saturday (11/2/2019). According to Schmeichel, United’s players do not seem to care about these results.
Schmeichel feels it’s not a good thing for a big team like United. He also considered Solskjaer stuck in a difficult situation.
“The defeat from Bournemouth is not good. I kind of feel Ole, I’m trapped between a rock and a hard place,” said Schmeichel at Soccerway.
“There isn’t much he can do. The fact is that it is a very average player squad. To go to Bournemouth and only have one shot on target, that’s bad.”
“We all have experiences like that where it’s not suitable for you and things like that. But what really makes me disappointed is the level of performance that is not good enough.”
“You play for Man United, you have to work hard for 90 minutes and there are certain players there who don’t have sweat on them, they look like they don’t care if they lose the ball or lose the duel. For me, that’s not good enough,” Schmeichel added.
United are currently ranked 10th in the 2019-2020 English League standings. Scott McTominay and his friends just collected 13 points from 11 matches that have been played.
