DBasia.news – Real Madrid won 3-1 against Kashima Antlers in the semifinal round of 2018 FIFA Club World Cup at ZSC, Wednesday (19/12). Gareth Bale scored three goals for Los Blancos.

In the final match on Saturday (22/12), Madrid would challenge the host who played beyond expectation, Al-Ain at ZSC Stadium.

After the match ended, Bale gave his firm statement to the reporters asking his performance as the replacement of Cristiano Ronaldo’s role who left to Juventus.

“Response? No. I just try to play football. I will always try give my best for the team. I don’t have to do anything else. I just try to help them as much as I can,” Bale told ESPN.

“The most important thing today was to get the victory,” he said. “We knew it was going to be a hard game. Every team here is going to be really up for it. The most important thing was to get through to the final and now we will prepare for that,” he emphasized.

Madrid coach Santiago Solari also hails Bale’s performance and hopes he could repeat that in the match against Zoran Mamic squad this weekend.

“He blew everything out of the water, the lights, the nets, the stands… he had a spellbinding match, and showed who he is and what he is capable of,” Solari added.

“We are thrilled for him and now he needs to rest up and do it all again in the next match. We hope he can continue to do it in every game. It is hard for him to score three goals each game,” he concluded.
