DBasia.news –  Some South American footballers will certainly not go on vacation immediately after the end of the 2018-19 season. They, who were called by the national team, are prepared to take part in the 2019 Copa America.

The 2019 Copa America will take place in Brazil from June 14 to July 7, 2019. One of the favorite countries of the championship is the Argentine national team. Lionel Scaloni, Argentina national team coach, has called 32 names to be included in the team’s temporary squad list.

The duo of Inter Milan strikers, Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez were called in. Likewise, with Barcelona’s superstar, Lionel Messi. One of the names that stole the most attention was Sergio Aguero, the Manchester City striker.

Aguero, who chalked up 21 Premier League goals and brought City to the championship this season, hasn’t strengthen Albiceleste for a long time since the 2018 World Cup. There was a suspicion that Aguero had an argument with the AFA (Argentine Football Association).

The 32 names will attend training camps before Scaloni narrows them down to the last 23 names, two weeks before the tournament begins. Argentina are in group B with Colombia, Paraguay, and the invitation team which is in fact the 2019 Asian Cup champion, Qatar.
