Sergio Ramos’ Response to Neymar’s Transfer Issue
By news-admin
DBasia.news – PSG’s star transfer saga, Neymar, has continued to roll this summer. Two Spanish giants were associated with him: Real Madrid and Barcelona.
But it seems Los Blancos is now the club that has the most potential to get Neymar’s signature, especially latest news have stated that thhe club owner of 13 Champions League titles have sent representatives to Paris and start negotiations regarding the player’s move.
This of course has invited comments from several parties, including the Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos. The Spanish player did not even hesitate to give commend that Neymar is one of the world’s best players.
“Neymar is a top player, he is one of the three best players in the world, but I am reluctant to discuss the transfer rumors as it shows a lack of respect for a great team like Real Madrid,” Ramos said as reported by Goal.
“Things like this (the recruitment of new players) have always been the subject of conversation at Real Madrid, especially when the transfer market is opening. Players should ignore this,” added the 33-year-old player.
It is still unknown what the future for Neymar holds, especially the transfer market for Spanish clubs will be closed on September 2.
If in the end he chooses to move closer to the Santiago Bernabeu, then Neymar will be Zidane’s sixth recruitment in the summer of 2019, previously the French manager had brought in Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Rodrygo, Eder Militao, and Ferland Mendy.
