Simon Mignolet Accepts to Be Alisson’s Option

DBasia.news – Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet admits Alisson Becker is a good one. He said he agreed to be the second option in Liverpool.
Simon Mignolet’s career in two past seasons wasn’t good. As the main goalkeeper from Sunderland in 2013, Mignolet is often benched.
Last season, he couldn’t compete with Loris Karius. Meanwhile, this season, he is the option for Alisson.
This season, he only supported Liverpool in two matches. The 30-year-old goalkeeper won’t do anything about this.
“Yeah, I can accept it easier now. It’s also the fact that the team is playing so well. Ali has been so important for the team. He has shown his strengths. He’s up there with the top five keepers in the world, if not the best,” Mignolet said.
“He’s a very natural goalkeeper. He’s got a lot of talent and he’s very fluent, he doesn’t really think about stuff. It’s all natural to him. He’s playing as the No.1 for Brazil in front of Manchester City’s goalkeeper – that says enough, really. I can accept that slightly better,” Mignolet added.
