DBasia.news – Some of Manchester United’s main players are still injured. That worried Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, manager of Man United, ahead of the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Barcelona at Old Trafford on Thursday (11/4) morning Western Indonesian Time.
Manchester United will face a difficult game against Barcelona. The Red Devils are predicted not to be able to play some of the best players such as Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian to Eric Bailly because of an injury.
Solskjaer will analyze the condition of the player until the match. According to the manager, the match against Barcelona will be interesting.
“We have to fix a lot of things. Of course, because they are the top club. However, we will use one or two days from now to analyze and restore,” Solskjaer said on the club’s official website.
“We will be prepared to face Barcelona. It will be a fantastic challenge for the club and the team,” said Solskjaer.
However, it is not an easy matter for Manchester United to beat Barcelona. Reflecting on the last match, Paul Pogba and his friends were unable to match Wolverhampton Wanderers. Man United lost 2-1.
“You cannot control the results. We can control what is done in the field. We have played quite well. We created enough opportunities to win matches,” Solskjaer said.
Manchester United’s target towards the end of this season is reaching the top four of the Premier League. Last season, the Red Devils were ranked second under Manchester City.
