DBasia.news –  Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signaled he had raised his hand regarding Alexis Sanchez’s performance. The Chilean striker entered as a substitute when his team lost 0-2 to PSG in the first leg of the Champions League last 16. However, it failed to make a satisfying contribution.

Manchester United actually conceded two goals when Alexis Sanchez was on the pitch. The situation then worsened with Paul Pogba who received a red card before the game ended.

Alexis Sanchez himself entered at the start of the second half to replace Jesse Lingard who suffered an injury.

“I can’t do anything about Alexis. He needs to find himself because we know there are quality players in him, “Solskjaer said.

So far Alexis Sanchez has scored five goals since being recruited by Manchester United in January 2018. His recruitment was a player swap deal, in which United chose to release Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Arsenal.

0-2 defeat of PSG at Old Trafford certainly makes Manchester United’s chances thinner to advance to the quarter-finals.
