Solskjaer Denies Haaland Will Soon Join MU

DBasia.news –  Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has denied rumors of Erling Braut Haaland immediately joining his team.

Haaland is currently starring in the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg, but he was once under Solskjaer’s care while still defending Molde.

“To be honest, I don’t think he is on his way to join this club,” Solskjaer said.

“I know him, his colleagues and they are enjoying the Christmas holidays. You don’t have the ease of traveling anywhere from Stavanger in Norway,” he added.

MU is said to be Haaland’s first choice to move up from Austria to a higher stage in Europe, but the player’s father some time ago said he would prefer his son to first develop a career in Germany.

“I cannot comment on the players of other teams,” Solskjaer said.

“I said that many times, but that is the risk of this work. Too much speculation,” he added.

But Solskjaer confirmed Manchester United would do activities in the transfer market this winter to strengthen his squad.
