Solskjaer Discusses Marouane Fellaini’s Transfer Issues to China

Marouane Fellaini
DBasia.news – The departure of Marouane Fellaini from Manchester United seemed to be a matter of time. The player, accompanied by his family, had uploaded a photo while he was at the airport which allegedly arranged his move to Shandong Luneng.
Manchester United’s temporary manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also responded to Fellaini’s transfer. He said that his move was not yet complete.
“Nothing has yet to be confirmed, so when I talk to him we discuss what needs to be discussed. We had good discussions and certainly talked about the injury, that’s all. But nothing can be confirmed yet, so I don’t want to say anything else,” he said at a press conference ahead of the match against Leicester City.
As it is known, since Solskjaer’s arrival Fellaini’s position seemed marginalized by only playing 31 minutes since December. This also made him decide to leave for another club.
Fellaini was brought in in the 2013/14 season from Everton when David Moyes was still the manager of the Red Devils. Overall, he has appeared in 177 games and scored 22 goals for United.
