Solskjaer Indicated Forced Pogba to Stay
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, asked Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not to impose his will on his client. Raiola indicated that Solskjaer did not give Pogba any choices regarding team transfer.
Mino Raiola increasingly put pressure on Manchester United about Paul Pogba’s future. Previously, the super-agent called Pogba interested in returning to playing in Italy. Reportedly, the 26-year-old has become the target of Juventus.
Now, Raiola attacks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, which is said to be a stumbling block for Pogba to leave. Raiola stressed Solskjaer had no right to force Pogba to stay at Old Trafford.
“Paul Pogba does not belong to me and certainly does not belong to Solskjaer. Pogba belongs to Pogba. You cannot have a human for a long time or anywhere. I hope Solskjaer does not want to make Pogba his prisoner,” Raiola said as reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
“Solskjaer must tell himself about my words. I am free to express my thoughts. Supposedly, Solskjaer only remembers the things he said to Pogba that summer.”
Paul Pogba never recovered from injury. This season, Pogba has only played seven matches in the Premier League. The midfielder packed two assists.
“I think Solskjaer is only thinking about other things to worry about – more than what I said about the future of Pogba. At least, if I were him, I would,” Raiola added.
Manchester United is rumored to want to sell Paul Pogba for a fee of 100 million pounds. The midfielder’s contract will expire in June 2021.
