Solskjaer Insisted No Active Help from Sir Alex Ferguson for Man United

One victory achieved in the FA Cup and six others in the Premier League exceeds the record of Sir Matt Busby. Solskjaer, 45, is the only manager who could achieve six consecutive victories in his debut.

It’s rumored that the revival is related to the active help from a former manager who handled Manchester United 26 years, Sir Alex Ferguson. He stole the attention when he came to Carrington, United’s training center and met the players in the dressing room while giving the advice for Solskjaer.

Solskjaer and Ferguson’s relationship is more than about professional player and the manager. Solskjaer thinks Ferguson as his father after 15 years coached under Ferguson.

“We don’t speak weekly. I haven’t spoken to him many times. He has been in to visit us just once, he has been in to see Rossi once,” Solskjaer said cited by Standard Sports.

“The influence is more my 15 years under him. He is 77, it is not fair to him either is it?” he continued.

Furthermore, Solskjaer thinks the glory moments of the club who achieved 20 Premier League titles with Ferguson was a past. The setback and revival moments are also the history for the club previously-named Newton Heath.

“Part of the history of the club that you get setbacks. It was not just glory days with Sir Alex either. That is just the way we are, that we bounce back and hopefully, we move up the table. That is key to us now,” Solskjaer added.

“The past three managers have passed on so much knowledge that the players know they will have it in the locker because every day is an experience,” he reviewed.
