Solskjaer Talks About Jesse Lingard
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Jesse Lingard slowly rediscovered his best game at Manchester United with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said the 26-year-old Russian player considers Lingard to have passion and ethos as a United player.
“He is big and breathes Man United. He is a Red Devil, he has a good attitude and work ethic,” Solskjaer said as quoted from the goal on Saturday (12/14/2 019).
“It’s fun to work with him. I once coached him on the reserve team, I gave him his debut on the reserve team against Burnley. It’s good to see it again in the best performance,” added Solskjaer.
The best smile and appearance was shown by Lingard as in the games against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur a few weeks ago. However, behind Lingard’s smile turned out to be a deep sadness he experienced.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Lingard mentioned that during one of this season he had to treat his mother who was experiencing pain. Not only that, but he also had to focus on his two younger siblings.
“My mother has been experiencing illness for a very long time but she has never complained. I also have to take care of younger brothers and sisters. They are with me. It is very difficult to see people I love struggling to live,” Lingard explained.
“I fell moody in these conditions. Everyone gave all things to me and buried my shoulders. However, as a man, I have to take up this responsibility.” he added.
Luckily for Lingard, the figure of Solskjaer became a great figure to lift himself from the problem. Solskjaer is not only a coach but a second father for Lingard.
