Solskjaer Values Manchester United Have Not Given Up Aiming for the Premier League Title

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ensures that his team has not given up on chasing trophies. The Red Devils even intend to step on the gas until the end of the season.

On paper, Manchester United still have the opportunity to win three titles this season, namely the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League. The position of Bruno Fernandes and his friends in the three events was quite comfortable.

However, many people still doubt Manchester United’s current capacity to become champions. This is reflected in their failure last season which stuck in the semifinals in three different tournaments.

Solskjaer recognized these doubts. Therefore he wants to maximize the strength of his team in this crucial period.

“We will enter a decisive period this season, so now we have to keep playing and maintain our consistency and improve quality. We also have to erase some of the mistakes we made and be more effective in front of goal,” Solskjaer said on the club’s official website.

“I don’t want to say it’s been a successful season now, but we have a chance to end the season with that feeling. I think we’ve shown the quality that can win us trophies.”

In general, Manchester United’s performance is much better than last season. This can be seen from the second place in their Premier League standings.

Last season, Manchester United had to struggle to just break into the top four. Their appearance was also fickle before Fernandes’ arrival.

But the increasing appearance will be meaningless if Manchester United are back in the title fast. That is normal for a big club.

Manchester United’s seriousness to step on the gas can begin when they travel to West Bromwich Albion headquarters on Sunday (14/2) tomorrow. Three points must be won in order to maintain a distance from Manchester City at the top of the standings.
