DBasia.news –  Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, had firm comments on his team after being crushed 0-4 by Everton in Week 35 of the Premier League, Sunday evening (21/4) at Goodison Park.

After being crushed by Barcelona in the Champions League with a score of 0-3, the Red Devils lost again with a landslide score 0-4 through goals scored by Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lucas Digne, and Theo Walcott. Man United could only record one shot on target on the 86th minute.

Solskjaer did not hide after the defeat and became the first figure to face fans who were present at Goodison Park, apologizing to them for the horror performance shown by David De Gea and mates.

“From the first minute everything was wrong. I just wanted to apologize to the fans. They were the only people with badges today who raised their heads high as we couldn’t do it,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

“We were beaten in all aspects today and the only place we beat Everton – I did not say I beat them – but we had fantastic support and I just want to apologize for the performance we showed.”

“We did not look good. It was not worthy of being called the Manchester United team. The performance was not good enough for a team like Manchester United, for me, even to the players, we disappointed fans, we disappointed the club. It was difficult to describe as it was very bad,” he explained.

The Norwegian manager has a firm statement addressed to his team. United Legend in the mid-1996-2007 has confidence that they will be successful in training the club in the future, but it will not apply to several players in the squad.

“You have to ask them. I have asked them. Of course if you want to play at this club, you have to give more things,” Solskjaer added.

“I want my team to be the greatest hard-working team in the league, that’s us under the care of Sir Alex (Ferguson) – (Ryan) Giggs, Becks (David Beckham), Gary Neville, Denis (Irwin) – no matter how much talent you have, you run more than other players. “

“You cannot change your entire squad. One step at a time. I will succeed here and there will be players who will not be part of that success,” Solskjaer said.

The next match is not easy for United. They will play the Manchester Derby against Manchester City at Old Trafford, Thursday (25/4) at 02.00 a.m. WIB. Solskjaer really hopes his team responds well to the last two defeats.

“They beat us in all the basics. We were defeated by the ingredients you needed, added with talent.”
