DBasia.news – Amid the honeymoon of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United with their eight consecutive victories, there’s an interesting fact that he doesn’t necessarily would be the club manager next season, considering his status.
As long as there is no decision from the management of Jose Mourinho’s successor, it’s still cavant despite Solskjaer’s status as the interim manager.
The Norway manager has the chance of a permanent contract if United want it. Plus, they must be successful in negotiating with Solskjaer’s club, Molde. Besides Solskjaer, the other candidates are Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane, and Massimiliano Allegri.
However, apart from the situation, Solskjaer has prepared a plan for The Red Devils. The living legend of Old Trafford in 1996-2007 enjoys his role as the manager.
“What Manchester United are going to look like next season with or without me, it doesn’t matter, I’m here to prepare for next season,” Solskjaer said cited by Telegraph.
“We have quite a few talents in that youth team that you’d like to see and will see before next season, to put the club and team in a good position.”
“I love this job. This is what you want. We achieve fantastic results, great performance, and the improvements that I can see occur in many aspects. I see myself as a Man United product because I started my coaching career here,” he concluded.
If Solskjaer could keep United’s consistency until the season’s end, perhaps Ed Woodward would offer him the contract renewal. The fans won’t mind with that.
