Solskjaer’s High Trust to Pogba and Sanchez

DBasia.news –  Two Manchester United players whose erratic future, Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba, still get full trust from the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pogba continued to train with the team in pre-season training sessions, although he had expressed a desire to move from United and he was in demand by Real Madrid. While Sanchez, his performance has not been convincing since joining Arsenal in January 2018.

Regarding Pogba, Solskjaer is still hoping to build a team to maximize the ability of the 2018 World Cup champion with the French national team. Solskjaer believes some United fans still love him too.

“Paul is a fantastic player, with a fantastic personality, and has always been a true professional. I have a great relationship with him. Of course, I had trained in the reserve team a few years ago,” Solskjaer said, quoted by the Guardian.

“Then I said ‘If he (Pogba) is in your squad, you will build a team around him’ – and, of course, I haven’t changed much since then, so I will still think so.”

“Man United fans, they understand football. Man United fans have gone through a period of success, some have supported us before the successful times with Sir Alex (Ferguson). We know Paul has been criticized by some fans, but he is also loved by other fans,” said the manager from Norway.

Likewise with Sanchez. Solskjaer is still optimistic that he can awaken the player’s best performance. According to him, the Chilean striker is still a player with high quality and playing techniques.

“For me, as a coach and manager, (his record and quality) gives me great confidence because we know what he can do (Sanchez),” Solskjaer added.

“We have to find a way – I am with Alexis, with the team – because there is a top player in him, and if we can raise him, he can give 20 goals easily when they look excellent and that’s the problem.”
