Solskjaer’s Humility Compared to Mauricio Pochettino

DBasia.news – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer broke the record after bringing Manchester United won 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur on the 22nd-week of Premier League, Sunday (13/1). Solskjaer is the first Red Devils manager who achieved six consecutive victories of all competitions in his debut.
The victory against Spurs is the most special so far because Spurs are the strongest team to be United’s contenders under the Norway manager.
But, the former Red Devils squad who achieved the treble in 1999 admits that the victory at Wembley won’t make him feels better than Mauricio Pochettino, who is rumored to be United manager next season.
“This game was never about me or him, never. You (the media) made it out to be. For us, it’s three points and we had to beat them today if we have a chance to catch them,” Solskjaer said cited by ESPN.
“I’m just doing my job every single day here until the contract runs out the end of June, I’ll have a holiday in there so I’m not thinking about that whatsoever.”
“Spurs are flying at the moment, they score goals, they’ve got some fantastic players and we defended really well, we had a fantastic goalkeeper obviously. Second half we made hard work of it, maybe ourselves, as they created many, many chances but the first half was spot on,” he concluded.
Manchester United are in the sixth position with 41 points, six points behind Chelsea in the fourth place.
