Southampton Goalkeeper Have No Aspirations of Being a Goalkeeper

The Norwich-born goalkeeper began his career at the Norwich City academy and briefly joined the Manchester City youth team and was promoted to the main team in 2017. Interestingly, Gunn himself had said that being a goalkeeper was not his ambition.

However, Gunn’s family was actually thrilled with his new position. As Bryan Gunn’s father was a former professional goalkeeper who had also been a goalkeeper for Norwich in the ’80s.

“After that moment my father told my mother that my new position was a goalkeeper. I don’t think my mother was happy about that. Maybe my mother said, I’ve been dealing with other goalkeepers for 20 years, “said Gunn.
