Spalletti Blames Marotta Over Ivan Perisic Transfer To Arsenal

DBasia.news –  Ivan Perisic caused quite a commotion with Inter Milan when he requested a transfer during the final winter stock transfer. Perisic allegedly wanted to play in the Premier League with Arsenal.

Inter’s CEO, Giuseppe Marotta explains Perisic’s desires to leave to the press and has caused a restlessness in the player’s locker room. Inter’s coach, Luciano Spalletti even reserved Perisic when the team lost 0-1 to Torino in the Serie A last week.

Spalletti didn’t blame Perisic for the transfer polemic, in fact Marotta was the one to “pour the oil onto the flames” with the rumor he spread to the public. According to him, Juventus’ former CEO, caused the commotion in the club’s locker room.

“I have no idea whether it was a good idea or not to say that Perisic was leaving, but players receive important offers and say they are opened to it,” added Spalletti.
