Spaniard Football Expert Thinks Madrid’s Main Target Is Christian Eriksen

DBasia.news – Real Madrid are looking for the player who could replace the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner, Luka Modric, who turns 34 this year.
Their target is the Denmark attacking midfielder, Christian Eriksen. Just like Modric, Eriksen is currently playing for Tottenham Hotspur. He could follow Modric’s path to Santiago Bernabeu.
Spaniard football expert Graham Hunter thinks Madrid set Eriksen as the priority in the transfer market. Madrid President Florentino Perez would do anything to bring him to Spain.
“There is no question whatsoever that Real Madrid see Christian Eriksen as the perfect signing. They would like to add him to their squad this summer. I think everybody respects the way that (Tottenham chairman) Daniel Levy conducts his transfer negotiations, but the power is always with the player and the buying club when a contract is running down in the way that Eriksen’s contract is at Tottenham,” Hunter said.
“Real Madrid wish to add Eriksen, albeit he is not an identical player to (Real’s Ballon d’Or winner) Luka Modric but there are patent similarities and, if Modric has his way, I think he will move to Inter Milan this summer. It is absolutely crystal clear that one of Real Madrid’s highest priorities this summer will be to try and sign Christian Eriksen,” he told Sky Sports.
In his 26, Eriksen could develop his career to gain more trophies with another Europe club. Moreover, he has been supporting Spurs for six years.
